ORDINANCE 2004- 1
AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A FRANCHISE TO CINERGY METRONET,
INC., TO OWN, OPERATE AND MAINTAIN A CABLE TELEVISION
SYSTEM IN THE CITY OF GREENCASTLE; SETTING FORTH
CONDITIONS ACCOMPANYING THE GRANT OF THE FRANCHISE;
PROVIDING FOR REGULATION AND USE OF THE SYSTEM; AND
PRESCRIBING PENALTIES FOR THE VIOLATION OF ITS PROVISIONS.
WHEREAS, the City of Greencastle desires to grant a franchise for the continued
development and operation of a Cable Television System; and
WHEREAS, Cinergy Metronet, Inc. has presented and negotiated with the City a franchise
agreement; and
WHEREAS, by the terms of the Agreement, it is to be effective July 13, 2004.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of Greencastle
that the attached Franchise Agreement dated July 13, 2004, be approved and made a part of this
Ordinance.
PASSE ADOPTED by the Common Council of the City of Greencastle, Indiana this
