AN APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE SUBMITTAL, ACCEPTANCE, AND APPROPRIATION OF A GRANT FROM THE WAYNE COUNTY FOUNDATION
WHEREAS, the Wayne County Foundation has grant funding available; and
WHEREAS, the Richmond Parks and Recreation Department desires to submit a grant application to purchase and install the fibar safety falling surface and other related site work for the
new playground equipment that will be installed in Glen Miller Park.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana, as follows:
The Richmond Parks and Recreation Department is hereby authorized to
submit a grant application to the Wayne County Foundation to purchase and install the fibar safety falling surface and other related site work for the new playground equipment that will
be installed in Glen Miller Park
The Richmond Parks and Recreation Department is authorized to accept
said grant funding in an amount up to Twenty-five Thousand Dollars ($25,000.00).
Said funds, if awarded to the Richmond Parks and Recreation
Department, shall be appropriated for the purchase and installation of then fibar safety falling surface and other related site work for the new playground equipment that will be installed
in Glen Miller Park.
Passed and adopted this 7th day of February, 2000, by the Common Council for the City of Richmond, Indiana.
