Re: Emergency Repair Inspection Services
Dear Mayor and Council Members:
As engineers for the Borough, T&M Associates oversees investigation and repair work associated with
emergency repair projects within the Borough. Within the first eight months of the year, we have provided
supervision and oversight for several emergency repair projects. Recently, a number of additional
emergency repairs associated with broken and/or blocked sewer lines resulting in system surcharges and
sinkholes have been identified. We propose to provide continued supervision and oversight of this work,
including coordination with contractors, field inspections and review of payment requests on a continuing
basis through the end of the year. Based on the amount of emergency work completed through the first
three-quarters of the year, there is a need for an additional authorization not to exceed $10,000.00.
If you have any questions regarding this matter, please advise.
Very truly yours,
T&M ASSOCIATES
