RESOLUTION NO. 06 -4466
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE
CITY APPROVING THE DESTRUCTION OF CERTAIN RECORDS
WHEREAS, Sections 34090 and 34090.7 of the Government Code authorize the destruction of
City records upon approval of the legislative body of the City and with the written consent of the City
Attorney provided that said records do not fall within certain specified categories and are not less than
two (2) years old (exception: election materials so authorized under the Election Code), and,
WHEREAS, the City Attorney has requested authority for the destruction of certain records which
do not fall within the excepted categories.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE
CITY, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the records listed on the attached Records Destruction Lists be destroyed in
the appropriate manner.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this resolution.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED on this 5th day of December, 2006.

No. 06 -4466, was adopted by the City Council of the City of Temple City at a regular meeting held on the
5th day of December, 2006 by the following vote:
AYES: Councilmember - Arrighi, Gillanders, Wong, Wilson, Capra
NOES: Councilmember -None
