Home My Public Portal About2004-17 2005 SALARY ORDINANCE - EMPLOYEESORDINANCE 2004 -17 Ah ® AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING THE SIZE OF THE DEPARTMENTS OF CITY GOVERNMENT OF THE CITY OF GREENCASTLE, INDIANA, FIXING SALARIES FOR THE EMPLOYEES OF SUCH DEPARTMENTS AND FIXING THE SALARIES OF CERTAIN OTHER APPOINTED OFFICIALS FOR THE YEAR 2005 BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of Greencastle, Indiana, as follows: SECTION ONE that all eligible full -time members of the departments of the City of Greencastle shall be paid longevity beginning the first date of the anniversary month of the fourth, seventh and twelfth year of service. Longevity shall be based on 3 %, 4% and 5% respectively, i.e. those personnel in their fourth through sixth year of service shall be paid a 3% longevity; seventh through eleventh year of service shall be paid 4% and twelve years and over 5 %. Full -time members shall be compensated for authorized overtime in accordance with the Fair Labor Standard Act, 29 U.S.C.A. 207. SECTION TWO: That the Police Department shall consist of eighteen (18) full -time members and in addition, five (5) part-time school crossing guards. That the Sewage Department shall pay to the City Attorney of the City of Greencastle for the services rendered by the City Attorney on behalf of the Sewage Department during the year 2005 the sum of Twenty -Two Thousand Four Hundred Seventeen Dollars ($22,400.00). That the Sewage Department shall pay to the City Engineer of the City of Greencastle for the services rendered by the City Engineer on behalf of the Sewage Department during the year 2005 the sum of Twenty -One Thousand Five Hundred Thirty -Three Dollars ($21,533.00). That the Sewage Department shall pay to the Assistant Engineer of the City of Greencastle for the services rendered by the Assistant Engineer on behalf of the Sewage Department during the year 2005 the sum of Twelve Thousand One Hundred Sixty -Seven Dollars ($12,167.00). ® That the Sewage Department shall pay to the Engineer Technician of the City of Greencastle for the services rendered by the Engineer Technician on behalf of the Sewage Department during the year 2005 the sum of Nine Thousand Three Hundred Sixty -Seven Dollars ($9,367.00). That the Sewage Department shall pay to each of the two (2) citizen members of the Board of Public Works and Safety of the City of Greencastle for the services rendered by the citizen members of the Board of Public Works and Safety on behalf of the Sewage Department during the year 2005 the sum of One Thousand Dollars ($1,000.00). SECTION EIGHT That the Department of Water Works shall consist of eleven (11) full - time members and three (3) part-time members.
