HomeMy Public PortalAbout198a CITY OF MEDINAp p ORDINANCE NO. � /0 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ACCESSORY BUILDING SIZE REGULATIONS AND THE MOBILE HOME REGULATIONS OF THE MEDINA ZONING ORDINANCE THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MEDINA DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION I: Section 407 (3) of the Medina Zoning Ordinance is amended by the deletion of stricken material and the addition of the underlined material, as follows: 407(3) In-Res4dentia4-Bistriets7-ne-aeeesserp-buiidings-she}1 exeeed-ten-{}8%}-pereent-a€-the-4et-areal-end-in-ne-ease-exeeed 66A-equare-€eet-ei-€Ieer-area-exeept-these-re4ating-te-€arm-ep- eratiens-er-bp-Eenditienai-Use-Perm t. 407(3) In Residential Districts, accessory buildings shall not be attached to the principal building and shall be governed by the following regulations: Lot Size Bldg. Size No. Permitted 10,000 sq. ft., or less 600 sq. ft. 10,000 sq. ft. to 20,000 sq. ft. 750 sq. ft. 20,000 sq. ft. to 43,560 sq. ft. 1,000 sq. ft. 1 to 3 acres 1,500 sq. ft. more than 3 acres 3,000 sq. ft. (combined) SECTION II: one one one one two Section 654 of the Medina Zoning Ordinance is amended by the addition of the underlined material: 654.101 Mobile Homes and Mobile Home Parks 1. New mobile home parks and expansions to existing mobile home parks shall be subject to Section 645.9 of this Ordinance. 2. Mobile homes in existing mobile home parks that are located in floodplain districts may be replaced only if in compliance with the following conditions: a. The mobile home lies in the Flood Fringe District. b. The mobile home is anchored with tie -downs that comply with requirements of Minnesota Regulations MoH 450. c. The mobile home owner or renter is notified that the mobile home site lies in the floodplain and may be subject to flooding. d. The mobile home park owner develops a flood emergency plan consistent with the time available after a flood warning. 3. Individual mobile homes not located in mobile home parks may be permitted if allowed by other applicable ordinances. SECTION II1: This Ordinance�becomes effective upon its adoption and publication.
