McClure instructed to figure without these areas. Minutes of the meeting of July 5 and special meeting of July 10 and July 28 were read and approved as read. Financial report for the month of July presented. Moved by Snow, Seconded by Prange to grant building permit to Sigrid Hager for a one -car, detached, frame garage with composition roof. Dimensions 12 x 22. Roll call Carried. Application of A. A. Mason for position of Police Magistrate presented. He had suggested keeping regular office hours either at the Town Hall or in the Johnson- Allison building. Moved by Wykert, Seconded by Snow to appoint Mason as Police Magistrate. Roll call. Carried. Moved by Wykert, Seconded by Snow that the Town buy a two-way radio --exact model to be decided by Mayor. Under the proposal the civil defense commission is to pay one-half of the cost, the State Hiway will install and repair and the Town will pay the cost of replacement of tubes. Roll call.- Carried. Street and Alleycommittee reported that six dips have been completed and additional ones are needed on Hayden Street at Third, the Wellman corner, Lutheran church corner, entrance to new addition, Allison street and First Ave., and at Second street and Second Ave. Moved by Prange, Seconded by Wykert to add these six dips. Roll call. Carried. Blake Armstrong presented a tentative plan of the Baptist Church for an apron providing for off-street parking. It was pointed out that the drain tile across the hiway at First Ave. is too low. To see Hiway department about furnishing; tubing. Mayor August 30, 1961 Special meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Town of Ault called to order for purpose of considering means of financing the proposed paving project. Members present: Armstrong, Clary, Loewen, Prange, Snow, Wykert. James*P. Johnson reviewed the methods of financing: 1. General obligation bond issue. 2. Special improvement district financed wither by special assessment or by mill.. levy. 3. Set up trust fund by blocks or any specified area. Group contract. Committee instructed to get figures for each property owner preparatory to presenting pet it it ons to the property owners. Meeting ad journe:'. Members present: Armstrong, Clary, Loewe i, Prang -e, Snow and Wykert. Guests were Albert Allison and Doug Galloway. Minutes of the meeting of Aug. 7 and the special meeting of Aug. 30 read and approved as read. Financial report for the month of August presented. Weld County Health Dept. sent in 2 safe water samples for the month of August. Correspondence: Letter to Home Light and Power Co. ordered two street light in- stalled in the new addition. Wykert, reporting for the Str-et improvements committee stated that financing plan of the town of Windsor had been investigated and found that they had registeredwarrants and the individual property owners had paid their assessments with their taxes over a period of six years. They had formed the improvement district thru ordinance.
