D. Fee tap waiver
1. Maurice Butler requesting tap fee waiver. Discussion. Trudy Selvia motion to
waive tap fee for Mr. Butler, second by Thom Morris, unanimous approval.

I. Call to Order
A. Mayor Murray called meeting to order at 4:06 PM.
II. Roll Call
A. Upon roll call; all members present.
III. Approval of Minutes
A. Regular Session — March 19, 2008
1. Motion by Trudy Selvia to approve, second by Thom Morris, unanimous approval.
IV. Department Reports
A. Fire Department— Bill Newgent
B. Police Dept. —Tom Sutherlin
C. Department of Public Works — Paul Wilson
D. Wastewater— George Russell
E. Water— Ed Phillips
F. Attorney— Laurie Hardwick
V. Old Business
A. Contract with ETS for Credit Card Services in Utility Department
1. Mayor Murray presented for board approval contract to accept credit cards in
Utility Office. Discussion. Goal is to have this service available by May 10, 2008.
Motion by Thom Morris to accept contract, seonc by Trudy Selvia, unanimous
approval.

1. Contract Change Order No. 3
a) Mayor Murray reviewed this for board. Discussion. Motion Trud S 'via •
accept as presented, second by Thom Morris, unanimous approval.
B. Personnel
1. Utility Department recommendation to hire Kenneth Boyce full-time effective April
19, 2008; starting wage of$22,000.00
a) Motion by Trudy Selvia, second by Thom Morris to approve this
recommendation.
2. Cemetery Department recommendation for benefits upon satisfactory completion
of 90 day probation period for:
a) Herbert Embree — effective April 22, 2008
b) Donald Black — effective April 22, 2008
(1) Motion by Trudy Selvia to accept this recommendation, second by
Mayor Murray, unanimous approval.
