Dinancial report for month of Octorer presented. Weld'County Health Department sent in two safe water samples for the month of Oct. Correspondence: Letter to Mt. States Inspection Bureau inouiring about fire rating in event gaspump is installed inside Town Hall building. Hr. Wm. T. Carl, inspector, made personal call to explain there would be no rate penalty providing installation meets inspection. Letter from Civil Defense Director, Tnuman Hall, requested that the Mayor designate a local director.. Lester Hotaling appointed by Mayor. application of Chester Forbes for 3.2% beer license at east pool hall presented. Also renewal applications from August Sothman, package liquor; Frank Moody, drug store liquor; and George Simpson, liquor by drink presented. Moved by Snow, Seconded by Loewen that the new license be issued and the renewals granted. Roll. call. Carried. Clary reported that a 560. gal. as storage tank, with fittings (exclusive of pipe and electric wiring) could be purchased for $104.00 F.O.B.. Denver. A new cial pump can be bought for $175.00. Moved by Wykert, Seconded by Prange that tank and pump be ordered and shipped frieght collect. Roll call. Carried. It was reported that the paving petitions have not been circulated but an effort will be made to have everything ready by Spring.
