RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING LOAN FOR VEHICLES FOR WATER AND
WASTEWATER DEPARTMENTS
WHEREAS,the Water Department is in need of a '/2 ton pick up truck and the Wastewater
Department is in need of a 3/4 ton pick up truck;
WHEREAS,bids were received for the above vehicles,with the lowest bid from Kenny Vice
Ford Sales, Inc.; and
WHEREAS,the City requested terms for financing from local banks,and First National Bank
was the bank that offered the lowest interest rate, at a rate of 2.72%.
NOW THEREFORE be it resolved by the Board of Public Works and Safety of the City of
Greencastle that it hereby approves a loan for the purchase of a 2011 F-150 4x4 pickup in the amount
of $24,372.00 and a 2011 Ford F-250 4x4 in the amount of $24,425.00. The Board further
authorizes Clerk Treasurer Teresa Glenn to sign all loan documents on behalf of the City of
Greencastle Board of Public Works and Safety.
PASSED AND RESOLVED by the Board of Public Works and Safety of the City of
Greencastle, Indiana this 8 day of 'Mar , 2011.
