Resolution authorizing filing of application with the
Environmental Protection Agency, United States of America,
for a Grant under the Water Pollution Control Act, (33 U.S.C.
466 et seq.)
WHEREAS under the terms of the Water Pollution Control
Act (33U.S.C. 466 seq.), the United States of America has
authorized the making of grants to authorized applications
to aid in the construction of specific public projects.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City of Medina that
the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute and file an applica-
tion on behalf of the City of Medina with the United States
Government, the State of Minnesota, and the Metropolitan
Waste Control Commission for a grant in aid for Infiltration
and Inflow Analysis and he is hereby authorized and directed
to furnish such information as the Environmental Protection
Agency and the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency may rea-
sonably request in connection with such application, to sign
all necessary documents, receive payments, and is hereby
designated the official Municipal representative.
This Resolution hereby certifies that the City of Medina
has the legal authority to apply for the grant and to finance,
repair and construct sewer facilities, as required, and will
contribute the local share of the financing.

The undersigned duly qualified and actina City Clerk of
the City of Medina does hereby certify; that the attached reso-
lution is a true and correct copy of the resolution authorizing
the filing of application with the Environmental Protection
Agency, as regularly adopted at a legally convened meeting of
the City Council of Medina duly held on the /4, day of
, 1980; and, further, that such resolution has been
fully recorded in the journal of proceedings and records
in my office.
