EXECUTIVE SESSION (ROOM 211) (PLACEHOLDER) A. Contract Negotiations, Litigation, and Real Property 6:30 PM PUBLIC SESSION (Room 215) PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE 2. PUBLIC FORUM Residents are invited to share ideas, opinions or ask questions regarding town government. 3. CONSENT AGENDA a. PRESIDENTIAL PRIMARY WARRANT The Board will consider approving for signature the Presidential Primary Warrant for the Presidential Primary scheduled on Tuesday, March 6, 2012 from 7AM-8PM at the Hopkinton Middle School Gymnasium. (ACTION) b. COMMITTEE RESIGNATION The Board will consider accepting the resignation submitted by Andre Griben, 6 Winter Street, as an at-large member on the Downtown Revitalization Committee effective immediately. (ACTION) c. SPECIAL POLICE OFFICER APPOINTMENT The Board will consider Police Chief Flannery’s request to appoint Gail Klein as a Special Police Officer for the purpose of acting as a Matron effectively immediately. (ACTION) 4. LIAISON REPORTS The Board will present its liaison reports. 6:45 PM 5. YOUTH COMMISSION UPDATE The Youth Commission Chair Dorothy Maruska will present an update of the Youth Commission’s activities. 7:00 PM 6. PUBLIC HEARING: TRANSER OF RETAIL ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES LICENSE APPLICATION (ACTION) Cornell’s Inc. 229 Hayden Rowe Street The Board will open a public hearing for a Transfer of License from Cornell’s Inc., 229 Hayden Rowe Street to Scanlon, LLC d/b/a Cornell’s Irish Pub, 229 Hayden Rowe Street. The Town’s Permitting Department Police Chief Flannery, Fire Chief Clark, Land Use, 2 | Page Planning and Permitting Director Elaine Lazarus, Municipal Building Inspector Chuck Kadlik and DPW Director John Westerling have reviewed the request and have no issue with the Board granting the request. 7:15 PM 7. FUTURE AGENDA ITEMS The Board will present its future agenda items. 7:30 PM 8. ICE ARENA UPDATE An update of the Ice Arena project will be presented. 7:45 PM 9. UPPER CHARLES TRAILS COMMITTEE The Board will consider the Upper Charles Trails Committee charge. 8:00 PM 10. TOWN MANAGER’S REPORT 1. FY2012 budget: Fire Department 2. FY2013 budget update 3. Financial Policy (cont’d discussion) 4. Hopkinton Arts Center Contract (ACTION) 8:30 PM 11. ADJOURN MEETING
