CITY OF MEDINA
RESOLUTION N0. P-a /
RESOLUTION CORRECTING RESOLUTION NO. 77-9, APPROVING PANGIER CONSOLIDATION
WHEREAS, the City of Medina adopted Resolution No. 75-37 levying
assessments on Lots 9, 10, 11, 12 and 13, Block 7, Independence Beach,
Hennepin County, said assessments totaling $11,295.00 and being two and
one-half assessable units; and
WHEREAS, these assessments were based upon the request of the owner
for a future division of the property into no more than two building sites; and
WHEREAS, on March 1, 1977, the owner requested a division and con-
solidation of the five lots into three building sites and a fair division
of the special assessments; and
WHEREAS, on March 1, 1977, the City Council passed Resolution No.
77-9 approving the division and consolidation of the said five lots into
three parcels, a copy of said resolution being attached hereto and made a
part hereof by reference; and
WHEREAS, the said Resolution No. 77-9 is in error in that it provides
for the payment of three and one-half assessable units on the three building
sites; and
WHEREAS, upon the filing of Resolution No. 77-9 with the Hennepin
County Finance Department, the Finance Department spread two and one-half
assessable units among the three building sites.
NOW, THEREFORE, Be It Resolved by the City Council of the City of
Medina that Resolution No. 77-9 is hereby amended and corrected to provide
for a total assessment of one assessable unit on each of the three parcels
in the amount of $2,708.40 for sanitary sewer and $1,809.60 for water;
Be It Further Resolved, that the City Clerk is instructed to take
all necessary steps to correct the records of the City of Medina and to
authorize the Hennepin County Finance Department to correct its records
in accordance with this Resolution.
