Member Reiser introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption:
CITY OF MEDINA
RESOLUTION NO. 80-27
RESOLUTION ORDERING THE IMPROVEMENT AND THE PREPARATION OF PLANS FOR THE IMPROVE-
MENT OF SIDEWALKS IN THE HAMEL AREA, CITY OF MEDINA
WHEREAS, a resolution of the City Council adopted on the 1st day of July,
1980, fixed a date for a Council hearing on the proposed improvement consisting
of the construction and repair of sidewalks in the Hamel area which lie adjacent
to both sides of Hamel Road from Brockton Lane to Hunter Drive; and
WHEREAS, ten (10) days published notice of the hearing through two weekly
publications of the required notice was given and the hearing was held thereon
on the 5th day of August, 1980, at which hearing all persons desiring to be heard
were given an opportunity to be heard thereon,
NOW, THEREFORE, Be It Resolved by the City Council of the City of Medina,
Minnesota, as follows:
1. Such improvement is hereby ordered as proposed in the Council
resolution adopted the first day of July, 1980, with the
exception that the area proposed to be improved and assessed
is described as follows:
Beginning at a point on Hamel Road 200 feet West of Brockton
Lane and concluding at a point on Hamel Road 1500 feet
West of Brockton Lane.
2. McCombs -Knutson and Associates, Inc., is hereby designated as
the engineer for this improvement. The engineers shall prepare
plans and specifications for the making of the said improvement.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by
member Crosby and, upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted
in favor thereof: Reiser, Crosby, Anderson, Laurent
and the following voted against same: None
Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
