A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE- CITY OF LYNWOOD~
- AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT
WITH COMPREHENSIVE HOUSING SERVICES, INC., FOR THE..
PREPERATION OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD'S CONSOLIDATED PLAN

~`~, : , ~ WHEREAS,. The Department of Housing and Urban Development section 24
~. ~ .~ _ CFR Parts.91 of the federal regulations establishes. for the submission of the federally .
funded and entitlement grant programs offered to the City; and ~•
WHEREAS, HUD regulations require the City to submit=a~FiveYear Consolidated
Plan as part of the application for federally funded and entitlement grant programs; and '
WHEREAS, the City of Lynwood is expected to receive an annual'allocation of
`- _ federal,funds?for the Community Development Block Grant and the HOME Investment
• Partnership funds,from the Department of Housing and Ui-ban.Development; and
." ~ WHEREAS, Comprehensive Housing Services, Inc:; has submitted a proposal to •
complete the City's Five Year Consolidated Plan which is commensurate with the needs
.. for community development activities; and
WHEREAS, .the City Council has determined that the Consultant Comprehensive .
Housing Services, Inc. is qualified by training and experience to perform the needed
services; •~
NOW; THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the~City of
` _ Lynwood approves an Agreement with Comprehensive Housing Services, Inc., for and
~~ amount not to exceed $15,000, for the completion of the City's Five Year Consolidated
Plan. •
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Manager is authorized execute the above-
mentioned Agreement on behalf of the Lynwood City Council.
