A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD AMENDING THE CLASSIFICATION PLAN
FOR THE REVISED POSITION STATEMENT
OF BUILDING INSPECTOR
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lynwood -has ,adopted an
Employee Classification and Position Plan and on occasion amends the plan as
needed; and
WHEREAS, Health and Safety Code Section 1894928 (a) requires
certification from a recognized state, national, or international association as
determined by the local agency within one year of hiring.; and
WHEREAS, the City has determined that certification from the
International Conference. of Building Officials (ICBO) is an acceptable
certification; and
WHEREAS, a revised classification statement has been prepared and
reviewed by the Personnel Board.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the. City of Lynwood does hereby
find, determine, order and resolve as follows; ,
Section 1. Amend. the Employee.Classification and Position Plan for the revised
~~, position statement of Building Inspector.

Section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 5th day of January 2000.
