- ~: DESIG'NEE TO EXECUTE CERTAIN AGREEMENTS WITH ~ . .
" ' - - TWE LO.S ANGELES COUNTY RELATIVE TO VARIOUS -
-' COUNTY WORK PROGRAMS - .

' WHEREAS,~from time to time, the Los Angeles.County Sheriffs Department
. ' ~ administers various' work ;release, inmate work, or juvenile correction work programs; and
• "WHEREAS, ahese programs provide local agencies with free labor that
can be utilized-ori public works projects and specified private properties; and
- : 1NHEREAS, staff recommends that the City take advantage. of these-
" programs and use this free labor on various City's maintenance projects.
. .THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of :Lynwood does ..hereby find,
proclaim, order and resolve as follows:. ~ .

Section 1. That City Council approves staff to .participate ,in said
- programs. . ~ ~.
Section 2..That the City :Manager or his designee is authorized to~-execute
the necessary agreements with the tos Angeles County for these programs.
_ Section 3: That this resolution shall go into effect immediately upon its }
