_~ - A RESOLUTION OF`THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD APPROVING THE SUBMITTAL OF CLAIMS
FOR THE CITY'S FY 1999-2000 ALLOCATION OF
PEDESTRIAN FUNDS (SB-821) FOR THE SIDEWALK
RECONSTRUCTION PROJECT CITYWIDE.
WHEREAS, SB-821 provides that 2% of each county's total local Transportation Fund
be .annually set aside and used to fund the development of pedestrian and bicycle facilities; and
WHEREAS, the SB-821 funds allocation of the City of Lynwood for '
FY 1999-2000 is $28,084; and
WHEREAS, staff has identified various locations citywide where reconstruction
of sidewalk is needed; and
WHEREAS, these sidewalks are eligible for the use of said funds; and
WHEREAS, the Lynwood City Council desires to continue providing safe
pedestrian facilities to its' residents.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood does hereby find,
proclaim, order and resolve as follows:
Section 1. That the City Manager is designated as the City's authorized signatory
and contact person to claim for all funds available to the City of Lynwood allocated under SB821
Section 2..That the City Manager or his designee is hereby authorized to make
the following funds transfer and appropriations:

TO
Sidewalk Reconstruction Project
FY 2000

Section 3. That this resolution shall go into effect immediately upon.its adoption.
