A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD AUTHORIZING STAFF TO PURCHASE NEEDED
MATERIALS, SUPPLIES.AND SERVICES THROUGH AN
INFORMAL BID PROCESS FOR THE ALLEY IMPROVMENT
PROJECT, PROJECT NO. 5-5199
WHEREAS, the Alley Improvement Project, Project No. 5-5199 is scheduled for
construction during FY 1999-2000; and.
WHEREAS, this project was CDBG funded and approved in FY 1997-9$; and
WHEREAS, the City decided to construct this project with in-house staff; and
WHEREAS, materials and supplies can be purchased more economically and
expeditiously using an informal bid process; and,
WHEREAS, under section 6-3.13 of the Lynwood Municipal Code, Council can
authorize purchases through informal bids by a 4/5 vote.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood does hereby find,
proclaim, order and resolve as follows: -
Section 1. That staff is authorized to purchase needed materials, supplies and
services to construct the Alley Improvement Project through an informal bid
process, Project No. 5-5199.
Section 2. This resolution shall go into effect immediately upon its adoption.
