HomeMy Public PortalAbout094-2000 - Grant - Partnership for a Drug Free Wayne CountyORDINANCE NO. 94-2000 AN APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE SUBMITTAL, ACCEPTANCE, AND APPROPRIATION OF A GRANT FROM PARTNERSHIP FOR A DRUG FREE WAYNE COUNTY WHEREAS, the Partnership for a Drug Free Wayne County has grant funding available; and WHEREAS, the Richmond Police Department desires to submit a grant application for purchasing 12 alcosensors, an electronics device that measures blood alcohol content. NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana, as follows: The Richmond Police Department is hereby authorized to submit a grant application for purchasing 12 alcosensors, an electronic device that measures blood alcohol content. The Richmond Police Department is authorized to accept said grant funding in an amount up to Six Thousand Dollars ($6,000.00) Said funds, if awarded to the Richmond Police Department, shall be appropriated to purchase 12 alcosensors, an electronic device that measures blood alcohol content.
