Present: Mayor Karen Hansen, Dave Huntsman, Ron Nelson, Dave
Benton, Larry & Joyce Scott, Ronnie & Susan Barnes, Josh & Mary
Southwick, Tony Huegel, Leon Denning, David Slade, Scott Morrow,
Ross Johnson, Dru Guthrie, Dee Johnson, David Morrow, Lynn
Rockwood, Craig Rockwood, Ken & Lynn Longmore, Terry Butikofer
and son Josh, Ray Gould.
Hearing was opened for public comment. Several questions were
raised; traffic control, how fast will growth take place, impact
area, protective covenants, possible zoning changes were
discussed as to manufactured housing. Dave moved to close Public
Hearing. Deb 2nd.
CITY COUNCIL MEETING NOV. 18, 1993
Present: Mayor Karen Hansen, Dave Huntsman, Ron Nelson, Dee
Johnson, Craig Rockwood.
Visitors: Terry Butikofer & son Josh, Ross Johnson
Adopt Annexation of Barns Addition. Approve first plat. Move to
waive 3 readings of Annexation/ Ordianance. Dave moved and Craig
2nd.
Dave Huntsman moved to Adopt Annexation/Ordianance of Barnes
Addition. Craig 2nd. Voting was unanimous.
Dave Huntsman moved to approve final plat of Benton 1. Deb 2nd
voting was unanimous.
Dave motioned to have the Mayor sign the Annexation Agreement
with exception that old mobile home be removed before
construction. Craig 2nd. Voting was unanimous.
Hearing for Zoning. R-1 residential zoning, single family
dwellings. Dave motioned to close hearing on zoning. Craig 2nd.
Dave motioned to Zone Annexation R-1. Deb 2nd.
Terry Butikofer from East Central Planning and Development was in
attendance. He helped evaluate that we comply or are working
toward complying with ADA (American Disablilites Act) Policy
and procedures list was presented for ADA. Craig moved and Dave
2nd to accept transition plan for ADA and section 504 of
Rehabilition Act.
New roof is being put on the building at the present time.
Replacement of 4" valve with a 6" valve at the new well was
discussed. Change will be made to correct the problem at Ted
Sorenson's expense per feeling of entire group. Dave moved and
Craig 2nd.
Declare American Christian Week Nov. 21-27.
Budget report presented. Water past due list presented.
Move to adjourn by Dave Huntsman.
