CALL TO ORDER
The September 18, 2009, "Brown Bag" Work Session was convened at 12:00 P.M. by
Mayor John Landwehr.
ATTENDANCE
The following Council Members were present:
Present: Carroll, Harvey, Klindt, Koon, Medin, Penfold, Scrivner, and Struemph
Absent: Ferguson and Pope
A quorum was present.
DISCUSSION OF AGENDA ITEMS
ANNOUNCEMENTS OF UPCOMING EVENTS:
Mural hearing: Mayor John Landwehr asked if it would be possible to get a copy of the
mural application and artist's rendering. Staff said they thought that would be possible.
BILLS:
2009 -72 (Amending code pertaining to animal breeders and sellers) Following discussion,
Councilwoman Carrie Carroll stated she will probably withdraw this bill Monday night to
allow more time for the Administration Committee to discuss it.
2009 -63 and 2009 -64 (Drew Perry Road PUD and rezoning) Councilman Eric Struemph
asked that 2009 -64 be voted on before 2009 -63 since it would pose a problem if one
passed and the other did not.
2009 -67 (filling council vacancies) Discussion was held regarding the length of full terms.
2009 -52 (contract with Wren Solutions) Councilman Jim Penfold stated he will leave this on
the Informal Calendar.
