CALL TO ORDER
The September 21, 2009, "Pre- Meeting" Work Session was convened at 5:45 P.M. by
Mayor John Landwehr.
ATTENDANCE
The following Council Members were present at the time the meeting convened:
Present: Carroll, Harvey, Klindt, Koon, Medin, Penfold, Pope, Scrivner and
Struemph
Absent: Ferguson
DISCUSSION OF AGENDA ITEMS
Taking up items out of order:
Mayor John Landwehr asked about taking up the Enterprise Zone resolution and the
proclamation since there will be people present for both of those items. No objections were
voiced to the suggestion.
2009 -52 (Contract with Wren for video surveillance equipment) - Councilman Jim
Penfold stated this will remain on the Informal Calendar.
2009 -61 (Namesake for Hartsfield Blvd.) - Councilwoman Carrie Carroll stated this will be
voted on tonight.
2009 -64 (Drew Perry Road rezoning & PUD) - City Counselor Nathan Nickolaus and
Councilman Eric Struemph distributed and explained the changes in a substitute to Bill
2009 -64. They stated Bill 2009 -64 should be voted on before 2009 -63.
2009 -72 (Animal Breeders and Sellers) - Discussion was held regarding whether to
withdraw this bill or place on Informal Calendar. Councilwoman Carrie Carroll stated she will
think about it, but may withdraw the bill during the Regular Meeting.
