Home My Public Portal About15663 White and Rosalie II Reduction and Bridgeport Sewer Separation (11212)ORDINANCE NO. 15663 AN ORDINANCE, making an appropriation of Three Million One Hundred Thousand Dollars ($3,100,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for sanitary sewer construction and private I/I removal in White and Rosalie I/I Reduction and Bridgeport Sewer Separation (11212) in the City of Brentwood, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 22023 with Fred M. Luth & Sons, Inc. for sanitary sewer construction and private I/I removal. WHEREAS, the bid for said sanitary sewer construction and private I/I removal is Two Million Six Hundred Sixty-Six Thousand Nine Hundred Twenty-Two and 76/100 Dollars ($2,666,922.76) and the allowance for construction change orders and other project expenses is Four Hundred Thirty-Three Thousand Seventy-Seven and 24/100 Dollars ($433,077.24); and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of Three Million One Hundred Thousand Dollars ($3,100,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund for sanitary sewer construction and private I/I removal in White and Rosalie I/I Reduction and Bridgeport Sewer Separation (11212) in the City of Brentwood, Missouri; said contract being comprised of such terms and conditions as have been approved by the Office of the General Counsel of the District. Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 22023 with Fred M. Luth & Sons, Inc., as the lowest responsible bidder for sanitary sewer construction and private I/I removal in White and Rosalie I/I Reduction and Bridgeport Sewer Separation (11212) in the City of Brentwood, Missouri, pursuant to bids received on the 30th day of March, 2021. Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted on June 10, 2021.
