RESOLUTION TO SET REIMBURSEMENT RATE FOR PAYMENT OF
MILEAGE WHEN A CITY EMPLOYEE USES PERSONAL VEHICLE FOR
CITY BUSINESS
Effective July 1,2022
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF MARCUS, IOWA, the Council by action taken July 19th, 2022.
The City Council of Marcus, Iowa does hereby set the rate of 62.5 cents per
mile to reimburse employees of use of personal vehicle for city business. This rate
is set forth by the Internal Revenue Service and is the standard mileage rate for
business based on an annual study of the fixed and variable costs of operating an
automobile.
PASSED and APPROVED this 19th day of July 2022.
