® AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 8 -26 OF THE
GREENCASTLE CITY CODE REGARDING
SCHEDULE OF LIMITED PARKING ZONES
WHEREAS, Section 8 -26 of the Greencastle City Code lists the limited parking zones within
the City of Greencastle; and
WHEREAS, the City has constructed a parking lot at the location of the previous City Hall at
the comer of Indiana and Walnut Streets, hereinafter referred to as the Walnut Street Municipal
Parking Lot;
WHEREAS, the City wishes to provide three parking spaces in said parking lot for the
purposes of Post Office patron use; and

WHEREAS, the City owns a parking lot at the northwest comer of Walnut Street and Vine
NOW THEREFORE be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of Greencastle that
Section 8 -26, Schedule of Reserved Parking Spaces, is hereby amended to add the following limited
parking:
S Walnut Street Municipal Parking Lot
Three parking spaces as designated by the City
Time Limit: 10 minutes
Vine Street Municipal Parking Lot
All parking spaces
Time limit: 2 hours
NOW THEREFORE be it further ordained that all other limited parking zones listed in
Section 8 -26 shall remain in full force and effect.
This Ordinance shall have full force and effect upon passage of the Greencastle Common
Council and its approval by the Mayor.
