- CONTRACT,ADMINISTRATION ON THE HAM PARK YOUTH CENTER'

`, WHEREAS, the Ham Park Youth Center Improvement Project, Project Number"
5-5205 is scheduled for construction during FY 1999-2000; "and' "
.. • WHEREAS, the Ham' Park Youth Center Improvement Project ;is funded by the
Community Development Block Grant funds• and the, Open Space Grant; and
- WHEREAS, a contract was awarded ~on March 16, .,1999 to Pickard Architects for
` design services in the amount of $33,500.00; and - '.
WHEREAS,$80;000.00 in additional funding was approved at the Council
• - meeting of May 18, 1999;;which will increase the scope, of design work
- r WHEREAS, compensation for' the additional design work on the Ham" Park
Youth Center;is estimated to be up to $9;000.00; and
' W>FIEREAS, City Council approval isrequired for the contract amendment.
NOW-THIEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood does hereby find,
proclaim, order and resolve as follows:
't Section 1: That the Contract Amendment for'Pickard Architects in the amount-`
of~ $9,000.00 be approved. '

Section 2. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its~`adoption.
