A RESOLUTION OF THE~CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
AUTHORIZING THE APPROPRIATION OF SIXTY ONE THOUSAND TWO
HUNDRED AND FIFTY DOLLARS FROM THE UNAPPROPRIATED
GENERAL FUND BALANCE FOR THE IMPLEMENTATION AND
OPERATION FOR A LYNWOOD CITY STORE IN THE
COMMUNITY/TRANSIT CENTER
WHEREAS, The Lynwood.City Store is designed to act as a public relations
mechanism to promote the City of Lynwood; and
WHEREAS, The City Store would house City of Lynwood paraphernalia
,, carrying the City of Lynwood name and logo; and
WHEREAS, The Lynwood Community/Transit Center is an ideal location for
the Lynwood City Store; and
WHEREAS, It is estimated that the implementation of the Lynwood City Store
and operating expenses for the remainder of the 1999/2000 fiscal year will be Sixty One
Thousand Two Hundred Fifty Dollars ($61,250.00).
WHEREAS, The City Store was not originally identified and approved for
funding in the .1999/2000 fiscal budget; and
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood does hereby find,
proclaim, order and resolve as follows:
Section 1. The City Manager or his designee is authorized to carryout any
necessary transactions as so ordered by this resolution.
Section 2. That a fund appropriation in the amount of sixty one thousand two
hundred fifty dollars ($61,250.00) be executed as follows:

This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
