RESOLUTION 81-4
WHEREAS the Medina Morningside area of Medina has an existing
water supply system with limited storage capacity, and
WHEREAS the City of Long Lake has an existing water supply
system that could be upgraded and extended, and
WHEREAS the City of Orono has prepared a report listing several
alternatives to supplying water to the Orono School system and
other business, and
WHEREAS a cooperative effort may prove to be cost effective
for insurance purposes and lower water rates to Medina Morning -
side properties;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that a preliminary feasibility
report of a cooperative effort should be completed for Medinas
response within 2 months and if favorable a complete study
should be completed within 6 months of this date.
Adopted by the Council of the City of Medina 17 day of
February 1981.
