Roll Call The City of Tiffin City Council held a work session Tuesday, November 19th, 2019 at the City Hall Council Chambers. Mayor Berner called the meeting to order at 6:31 PM. Upon roll being called the following members were present: Jim Bartels, Al Havens, Eric Schnedler, Peggy Upton, Mike Ryan. Others present City Administrator Doug Boldt, Interim City Clerk Abigail Hora, City Engineer Ben Carhoff and others present. B.Agenda Additions/Agenda Approval Motion to approve agenda by Schnedler Second by Ryan All ayes, agenda approved. C. Discussion of a Potential Capital Campaign for the Recreation Center Discussion: Shive has a person that could facilitate the capital campaign, target March or April of 2020. thth Public Information meeting involving the public. Moving up the Joint School Board meeting (8 or 15 in January). D. Discussion and Consideration of Iowa Snowdrifters Trail Route Proposal into Tiffin and Council Action as Needed Discussion: Derek with the Iowa Snowdrifters presents Tiffin Trail Route, will need to be approved via Resolution on the first meeting in December Motion to approve Iowa Snowdrifters Trail Route Proposal into Tiffin by Ryan Second by Upton All ayes, motion carried. Discussion: North Park Rd open, South Park Rd open next week. LL Pelling to repair 125ft on East side of project. City Administrator Discussion: ECICOG representative Al Havens has volunteered. Send out invites for holiday party later this week/beginning of next week. Snow removal with three steps before fining.
