` ~ A. RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
. THE CITY OF LYNWOOD RELATING TO THE ~ '
. ~~--~ DESTRUCTION OF RECORDS
WHEREAS,. The City of Lynwood has, retained certain liability records for
the required period which are no .longer a requisite; and ~ ~ .
~: , . ~ WHEREAS, Government Code Section> 34090 permits the head of a City
department to destroy any City records, documents, instrument, after the same~is
` no longer required; and ~ '
WHEREAS; file cabinet space is needed for newer records.

NOW, THEREFORE, The ..City Council of the City of Lynwood does
;hereby find, determine, .resolve and order as follows: °
Sectioh 1. Approve destruction of liability files from 1995 and .before.
Section 2. This resolution shall take effect immediately,upon adoption.

PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTEDthis 16th 'day of MaY 2000.
