HomeMy Public PortalAbout096-2000 - Grant - Partnership for a Drug Free Wayne CountyORDINANCE NO. 96-2000 AN APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE SUBMITTAL, ACCEPTANCE, AND APPROPRIATION OF A GRANT FROM PARTNERSHIP FOR A DRUG FREE WAYNE COUNTY WHEREAS, the Partnership for a Drug Free Wayne County has grant funding available; and WHEREAS, the Widowed Persons Services desires to submit a grant application to help fund their prescription drug alcohol and gambling awareness and prevention program. NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana, as follows: 1. The Widowed Persons Services is hereby authorized to submit a grant application to help fund their prescription drug, alcohol, and gambling awareness and prevention program. The Widowed Persons Services is authorized to accept said grant funding in an amount up to One Thousand One Hundred and Twenty-five Dollars ($1,125.00). 3. Said funds, if awarded to the Widowed Persons Services, shall be appropriated to help fund their prescription drug, alcohol and gambling awareness and prevention program.
