RESOLUTION NO. 2017-08-01
A RESOLUTION CONFIRMING THE APPOINTMENT OF THE FIRE CODE OFFICIAL
PURSUANT TO THE INTERNATIONAL FIRE CODE.
WHEREAS, the Town of Fraser, Colorado, has adopted the International Fire Code,
2006 Edition, with certain amendments, and such Code is now applicable within the Town; and
WHEREAS, the said International Fire Code, as amended, provides that the Building
Official will deputize or designate a person to act as the "fire code official", who is responsible of
administering and enforcing the provisions of said Code; and
WHEREAS, the undersigned, as the duly appointed Building Official of the Town, has
designated and deputized the Fire Prevention Officer of the East Grand Fire Protection District
No. 2, to act as the fire code official within the Town; and
WHEREAS, the Building Official and the Board of Trustees desire to confirm and ratify
such appointment.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BUILDING OFFICIAL AND THE BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE TOWN OF FRASER, COLORADO THAT:
That the Fire Prevention Officer of the East Grand Fire Protection District No. 4, and any
successor to that position, is hereby designated and deputized to serve as the fire code official
for the Town of Fraser with full authority to administer and enforce the provisions of the
International Fire Code, as adopted and amended from time to time by the Board of Trustees of
the Town of Fraser. Such appointment has been made by the undersigned Building Official and
is ratified and confirmed by the Board of Trustees on the date indicated below.
