CALL TO ORDER
The Work Session of November 9, 2009 was convened at 5:35 P.M. by Mayor John
Landwehr.
ATTENDANCE
The following Council Members were present:
Present: Carroll, Ferguson, Harvey, Klindt, Koon, Medin, Pope, and Scrivner
Absent: Penfold and Struemph
A quorum was present.
TOPICS OF DISCUSSION
TRANSIT SYSTEM:
City Administrator Steve Rasmussen explained the reason for the topic of tonight's meeting,
followed by a power point presentation of materials by City Planner Janice McMillan with
assistance from Transit Division Director Richard Turner. The Council asked Ms. McMillan
to provide them with further information regarding several issues brought up by the Council,
including such issues as ADA mandates, number of persons who ride Handi - Wheels, and
funding of Handi - Wheels vs. funding for the regular buses. Ms. McMillan stated that
information would be sent to the Council.
DUNKLIN STREET REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT:
City Administrator Steve Rasmussen introduced City Engineer Matt Morasch who made a
presentation on the Dunklin Street Redevelopment Project. He answered questions asked
by the Council.
ADJOURNMENT
A motion was made by Councilman Bob Scrivner, seconded by Councilman Rich Koon, to
adjourn, and was approved unanimously at 6:50 P.M.
