PRESENT: Craig Rockwood, Deb Sorenson, Dave Huntsman. Dee
Johnson, Karen Hansen.
VISITORS: Nancy Smith, Mr. & Mrs. Dennis McArthur.
Legal advertisements and mailings have been published and sent
out. Requested a variance for a 10 ft. set back from front
property line.
Deb taked to the neighbor to the north and they had no objection
as long as the side yard of at least 10 ft. is maintained.
Meeting closed at 7:15 p.m.
CITY COUNCIL MEETING AUG. 4, 1994 AT 7:15 P.M.
This meeting was held right after the Hearing in order to pass
the Variance.
Dave mentioned his desire to maintain the integrity of the Zoning
Ordinance. To do this, we would need to keep to at least a 15
ft. average property set back on Dayton St. Craig made a motion
to go with the 10 ft. variance for McArthur property. Dee
seconded. Those in favor: Craig, Dee and Deb. Oppossed: Dave.
Property owner was asked to maintain the integrity of the borrow
pit to protect the road.
The Council was in agreement to sell the generator for a minimum
of $2500. Karen will deal with them.
