THE CITY OF BEL AIRE, KANSAS
ORDINANCE NO. ~ ~ ;;:L
AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE DESIGNATION OF CERTAIN
INTERSECTIONS AS STOP INTERSECTIONS; AND PROVIDING FOR PENAL TIES
FOR THE VIOLATION THEREOF.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF BEL AIRE, KANSAS:
Section 1. Stop Sign Locations
When stop signs are erected and maintained giving notice thereof, drivers of vehicles shall
stop at the following intersections before entering any of the following streets, portions of streets,
driveways, rights-of-way, or parking lots:
Hedgerow Street
When entering from the driveway providing access to the parking lot of the city park
located in the 5200 block of 48th Street North from Hedgerow Street.
The Parking Lot of the City Park located in the 5200 block of 4Sth Street North
When entering from the driveway providing access to the parking lot of the city park
located in the 5200 block of 48th Street North from Hedgerow Street.
The Driveway providing access to the City Park located in the 5200 block of 48th Street
North from Hedgerow Street
Street North.
When entering from the parking lot of the city park located in the 5200 block of 48th
Section 2. Penalty
The penalty for any person found guilty of failing to obey a stop sign shall be provided in the
Uniform Traffic Code as adopted by the City of Bel Aire.
Section 3. Effective Date
This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after its publication in the official
city newspaper.
