HomeMy Public PortalAbout097-2000 - Grant - Partnership for a Drug Free Wayne CountyORDINANCE NO. 97-2000 AN APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE SUBMITTAL, ACCEPTANCE, AND APPROPRIATION OF A GRANT FROM PARTNERSHIP FOR A DRUG FREE WAYNE COUNTY WHEREAS, the Partnership for a Drug Free Wayne County has grant funding available; and WHEREAS, the Richmond/Wayne County Halfway House desires to submit a grant application to be used for operating expenses for the year 2001. NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana, as follows: The Richmond/Wayne County Halfway House is hereby authorized to submit a grant application to be used for operating expenses for the year 2001. The Richmond/Wayne County Halfway House is authorized to accept said grant funding in an amount up to Twenty Thousand Dollars ($20,000.00) Said funds, if awarded to the Richmond/Wayne County Halfway House, shall be appropriated to be used for operating expenses for the year 2001.
