AN APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE SUBMITTAL, ACCEPTANCE, AND APPROPRIATION OF A GRANT FROM PARTNERSHIP
FOR A DRUG FREE WAYNE COUNTY
WHEREAS, the Partnership for a Drug Free Wayne County has grant funding available; and
WHEREAS, the Richmond/Wayne County Halfway House desires to submit a grant application to be used for operating expenses for the year 2001.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana, as follows:
The Richmond/Wayne County Halfway House is hereby authorized to submit a grant application to be used for operating expenses for the year 2001.
The Richmond/Wayne County Halfway House is authorized to accept said grant funding in an amount up to Twenty Thousand Dollars ($20,000.00)
Said funds, if awarded to the Richmond/Wayne County Halfway House, shall be appropriated to be used for operating expenses for the year 2001.
Passed and adopted this 4th day of December, 2000, by the Common Council for the City of Richmond, Indiana.
