RESOLUTION
WHEREAS: it is the opinion of the Clerk of the City of
Medina that the Automation and Computor needs of the City
should be researched and;
WHEREAS, the Clerk of the city has met with other offi-
cials of other cities for the purpose of discussing the use of
computers in small cities and;
WHEREAS, the Officials of Milaca, Maple Plain, Cambridge,
Elk River, Minnetrista, Medina and Princeton wish to join
together to form a consortium for the purpose of doing a formal
feasibility study of the .use of computers in small cities and;
WHEREAS, the members of the consortium wish to make an appli-
cation to the Ingergovernmental Information Services Advisory
Council for funds to conduct a feasibility study,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the
City of Medina the following:
1. That Donna Roehl, City Clerk be appointed by
the Council to represent the City on the Small Cities Computer
Consortium.
2. That the City Clerk be authorized to take part
in the feasibility study of needs as recommended by the Con-
sortium.
3. That the Consortium should apply for available
funding from the Intergovernmental Information Services Advisory
Council to defray the costs fo the feasibility study to the
member cities of the Consortium.
