MEETING: Economic Development Advisory Committee Regular Meeting

PRESENT
Committee: Craig Clark, Mayor Philip Vandernail, Barry Young, Shelly Neibauer and
Toni Hallgren (entered at 10am)

Planner Catherine Trotter (entered at 10am)
Others: Parnell Quinn Sylverstein (entered at 10am)
1. Regular Meeting: Roll Call
2. Approval of Agenda:
Young moved to approve, and Clark seconded the motion to approve the agenda.
Motion carried 4-0.
3. Consent Agenda:
a) Minutes 2017-03-28
Young moved to approve, and Neibauer seconded the motion to approve the consent
agenda. Motion carried 4-0.
4. Crooked Creek Business Enhancement Grant Request
Neibauer moved to approve, and Young seconded the motion to approve Crooked
Creek Business Enhancement Grant Request for $20,000 and to appropriate $20,000 in
funds to the Business Enhancement Grant Program. Motion carried 3-1. Ney
Vandernail. Hallgren was recused from the discussion.
Quinn was excused after the Crooked Creek Grant discussion.
5. Grand Park Proposal
Young moved and, Neibauer seconded the motion to recommend to the Town Board of
Trustees to approve the Economic Development Policy for Grand Park's planning areas
1W and 2W which contains the Village at Grand Park. Motion carried 5-0.
6. Distillery Proposal

Neibauer moved, and Clark seconded the motion to recommend to the Town Board of
Trustees to approved the Economic Development Policy for the Distillery. Motion
carried 4-0. Young was recused from the discussion.
7. Executive Session to discuss the purchase, acquisition, lease, transfer, or sale of real,
personal, or other property interest under C.R.S. Section 24-6-402(4)(a). The committee
also invited TM Durbin, TC McVeigh, TP Trotter and Sylverstein to attend the executive
session.

Motion to enter: 1st -Young 2nd- Neibauer, Motion carried 5-0
Motion to exit: 1St- Clark 2nd- Young, Motion carried 3-0
Hallgren and Neibauer were excused during the executive session.
8. Adjourn:
Clark moved, and Young seconded the motion to adjourn. Motion carried: 3-0.
