A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF LYNWOOD APPROVING A SUBSTANTIAL CHANGE
TO THE CITY'S HUD CONSOLIDATED ANNUAL ACTION PLAN
FOR FISCAL YEAR 1999-2000
WHEREAS, in May of 1999, Lynwood City Council approval the Final
consolidated Annul Action Plan for fiscal year 1999-2000; which included
several narratives relating to Housing and Community Development
Strategies; and.
WHEREAS, the City is currently applying for a Section 108 Loan and a
Brownfields Economic Development Initiative Grant (BEDI), both of which
require that any project using these funds must be included in the City's
current Annual Action~Plan (FY1999-2000); and
WHEREAS, in order to include a narrative to ..the approved
Consolidated Plan,. a substantial change must be made.
NO.W, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood does
hereby find, order and resolve as follows:
SECTION 1. ~ Approve and Adopt the following amendment to the
fiscal year 1999-2000 Consolidated Action Plan, Housing and Community
Development Strategy Narrative -Page 6":
"A .redevelopment project the City is pursuing is the site and
integration of the Towne Center and the .Marketplace expansion, utilizing
Section- 1.08 Loan and Brownfields Economic Development Initiative (BEDI)
grant funds".
SECTION 2. The City Council authorizes the City Manager or his
designee to amend the Consolidated Plan for fiscal year 1999-2000.
' SECTION 3. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon
its adoption.
APPROVED and ADOPTED this 6th day of June, 2000.
