A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY _ .
OF LYNWOOD APPROVING THE DESIGNATION OF
THE INTERSECTION OF LYNWOOD ROAD AND SCHOOL .
STREET AS A THREE-WAY STOP INTERSECTION.

.WHEREAS, staff has received requests from residents and Wilson Elementary
School's school officials for stop signs installation at the intersection of Lynwood Road and
School Street; and
WHEREAS, staff has reviewed the requests and found that the existing
crosswalks at said intersection do not have adequate protection; and
WHEREAS, the designation of said intersection as a three-way stop
intersection will better protect school students using said crosswalks.
THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood does hereby find,
proclaim, order and resolve as follows:
Section 1. That the City Council approves the.designation of the .
intersection of Lynwood Road School Street as a three-way stop intersection.
Section 2. That this resolution sha_ 11 go into effect immediately upon its
adoption.
PASSED, APPROVED .and ADOPTED this 6th day of
June , 2000.
