A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
" OF LYNINOOD APPROVgNG THE CDBG AND FIOME
CONSOLIDATED FIVE YEAR PLAN (FY2000-2004) AND
' ANNUAL ACTION PLAN FOR FISCAL YEAR 2000-2001
Vt/!/ER~~IS, the Department of Housing and Urban Development
provides federal funding in the form of the Community Development Block
Grant (CDBG) and the Home Investment Partnership {HOME) Grant. These
funds are made. available to assist the. City of Lynwood in providing decent
housing, a suitable living environment and expanding economic opportunities,
principally for persons of low and moderate income; and
VI/ffEI~EAS, HUD has made $2,006,943 in CDBG funds and $631,000
in HOME funds available for programming during the 2000-2001 fiscal year.
When this amount is combined with CDBG program income in the amount of
$120,000 and CDBG carryover funds in the amount of $100,000, the total
amount for HUD activities is $2,857,943; and

comments on the City's housing and community development needs, draft
Consolidated Five-year Plan (FY2000-2004) and Annual Action Plan
. (FY2000-2001); and. ~ .
W~lLd4Ei4S, the Lynwood City Council. has reviewed the draft
Consolidated Five Year Plan, Annual Action Plan and taken public comments
and .input into consideration, relating to Lynwood's community development
and housing needs.
IVOV1/, THEI4EF®RE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood does
hereby find, determine, order and resolve as follows:
Section ~. The Consolidated Five-Year Plan for fiscal year 2000-
2004, to include any amendments recorded at the June 6, 2000, Council
meeting; and ,
Section 2. The Annual Action Plan for fiscal year 2000-2001, .CDBG
and HOME applications, to include any amendments recorded at the June 6,
2000, Council meeting, and the allocation of CDBG and HOME funds to the
following activities for fiscal year 2000-2001:

Section 2. This Resolution authorizes the required submittal of the
Consolidated Five Year Plan (FY2000-2004) and Annual Action Plan for fiscal
year 2000-2001, to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development
(HUD).
~SectioA~ 3. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its
adoption.
