MEETING: Public Arts Committee Regular Meeting

1. Regular Meeting: Roll Call
Shapiro called the meeting to order at 9: 05 a.m.
2. Approval of Agenda:
Klancke moved, and Vandernail seconded the motion to approve the Agenda. Motion
carried: 8-0.
3. Consent Agenda:
a) Minutes – May 19, 2017
Klancke moved, and Flacke seconded the motion to approve the consent
agenda. Motion carried: 8-0.
4. Discussion
a) Susan Booker, Lafayette Arts and Cultural Resources Director
The PAC heard about the strategies Lafayette used to become a successful endeavor.
b) Mural Program
The Gardener Shed is ready to be painted, Larson will schedule work.
b) Picnic in the Park Arts Strategy
PAC members signed up for events, a banner with a new PAC logo will be prepared,
and PAC will distribute the popsicles, talk about community interest, share the mission of
the PAC, and gather emails.and info for the database of creatives and supporters.

Vandernail moved, and Klancke seconded the motion to adjourn. Motion carried: 6-0.
