Mayor Chavez called the City Council Special Meeting to order at 6 :00p.m . i n the
City Hall Community Room located at 9 701 Las Tunas Drive , Temple City .

4. DISCUSSION ITEM
A. PROPOSED FISCAL YEAR (FY ) 20 15-16 CITY BUDGET
City Manager Cook gave an overv iew of the proposed FY 2015 -16 City
Budget with notable trends and initiatives that may have an effect on the
City 's proposed budget.
Administrative Services Hause gave an overview of the general fund
trends and the services each fund pays . She briefly shared the steps staff
is taking to balance operationally.
Mayor Chavez left the meeting at 6 :40 p .m. and returned at 6 :41 p .m .
Mayor Chavez opened Council discussion regarding the proposed city
budget.

City Mana ger Cook and Administrative Services Director Hause answered
City Council questions regarding the proposed city budget.
Hearing no further request for public comment, Mayor Chavez closed
public comment.
City Cou nc il directed staff to include measu rables in the city budget.
City Manager Cook announced that the second Budget Study Session will
be held on May 28 , 6 p .m ., in the Council Chamber.
5. ADJOURNMENT
The C ity Council Special Meeting was adjourned at 7 :32p.m .
