HomeMy Public PortalAboutResolution 2012-9WHEREAS, the Greencastle/Putnam County Development Center, Inc. continues to play a
key role in assisting, retaining, and attracting new business and industry to the community; and
WHEREAS, the Greencastle/Putnam County Development Center, Inc., has requested
funding in the amount of Forty- Thousand Dollars ($40,000.00) for the year 2012 from the interest
earned on the Industrial Development Fund; and
WHEREAS, the Citizens Advisory Commission for Industrial Development approves and
recommends to the City of Greencastle Common Council through its Resolution No. 2012 -1 an
expenditure of monies of Forty- Thousand ($40,000.00) for the year 2012 from the interest earned
on the Industrial Development Fund for the promotion of economic development in the City of
Greencastle.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE GREENCASTLE COMMON
COUNCIL approves the expenditure of $40,000.00 in industrial development fund monies.
