A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
AWARDING A CONTRACT TO USS. CAL BUILDERS, INCORPORATED, IN
THE AMOUNT OF .$2,000,348.00 FOR THE NATATORIUM REHABILITATION
PROJECT, PROJECT NUMBER 5-5208, FISCAL YEAR 1999/2000
WHEREAS, 'the Natatorium Rehabilitation Project, Project No. 5-5208, is
scheduled for construction in September 2000;. and
WHEREAS, the Natatorium Rehabilitation Project, Project No. 5-5208, is funded
by Community Development Block Grant Funds (CDBG) and CIP Revenue Bond; and
WHEREAS, the bid opening was held on;May 24, 2000, and USS Cal Builders,
Incorporated, was the lowest responsible bidder at $2,218,348:00; and
WHEREAS, a reference check has revealed that this contractor has the necessary
experience for this type of project.
NOW THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood does hereby find,
proclaim, order and resolve as follows:
.Section 1. That the contract for the Natatorium Rehabilitation Project, Project
Number 5-5208. be awarded to USS Cal Builders, Incorporated for its low bid of
$2,218,348.00.
Section 2. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute the agreement
between the City of Lynwood and USS Cal Builders, Incorporated. ,
Section 3,. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 20th day of June, 2000
