A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD APPROVING THE
SPECIAL SERVICES AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CIZY OF LYNWOOD AND LIEBERT
CASSIDY, A PROFESSIONAL CORPORATION AND AUTHORIZING MEMBERSHIP IN THE
SOUTHEAST LOS ANGELES `EMPLOYMENT RELATIONS CONSORTIUM
• WHEREAS, the City desires to secure .expert training and consulting to assist staff
in its relations and negotiations with employee organizations; and

~ ± WHEREAS, the City of Lynwood is aware that other public agencies have joined
the Southeast .Los Angeles Employment Relations Consortium in order to receive quality
employment relations training and informational services at a reasonable cost.
WHEREAS, it would be to the City of: Lynwood advantage to become a member
of the Southeast Los Angeles Employment Relations Consortium..
NOW THEREFORE, The City Council of the 'City' of Lynwood does hereby find,
order and resolve as follows:

Section 1. That the service agreement between Liebert Cassidy,- a. Professional
Corporation and the City of Lynwood is approved for the period July 1, 2000 through
June 30, 2001 in order to obtain membership in Southeast Los Angeles Employment
Relations Consortium provided that City Council approve the use of Liebert Cassidy for
. any additional legal work not expressly provided as part of the basic membership fee.
Section 2. That the City of Lynwood membership is approved and authorized in
the Los Angeles County Employment Relations Consortium.
Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon it's adoption.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 5thday of July , 2000.
