A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING NEGOTIATIONS TO
RESOLVE HOMELESSNESS IN GREENCASTLE, IN
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Greencastle is committed to helping to
find a resolution to homelessness in our community; and
WHEREAS, the Council believes that the city can play an instrumental role in
addressing the needs of the homeless.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Common Council of the City of Greencastle
that the Mayor and City Attorney work with the Boards of the Greencastle
Housing Authority and the Beyond Homelessness to formulate a resolution to the
issue that can be brought back to the City Council for deliberation and
consideration.
PASSED AND RESOLVED ON THIS 18TH DAY OF December, 2012.
