COMMON COUNCIL
CITY OF GREENCASTLE,INDIANA
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING FUNDING OF THE
GREENCASTLE/PUTNAM COUNTY DEVELOPMENT CENTER
FROM INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT FUNDS
WHEREAS,the Greencastle/Putnam County Development Center,Inc. continues to play a
key role in assisting,retaining, and attracting new business and industry to the community; and
WHEREAS, the Greencastle/Putnam County Development Center, Inc., has requested
funding in the amount of Thirty-Five Thousand Dollars ($35,000.00) for the year 2013 from the
interest earned on the Industrial Development Fund; and
WHEREAS,the Citizens Advisory Commission for Industrial Development approves and
recommends to the City of Greencastle Common Council through its Resolution No. 2013-2 an
expenditure of monies of Thirty-Five Thousand ($35,000.00) for the year 2013 from the interest
earned on the Industrial Development Fund for the promotion of economic development in the City
of Greencastle.
• NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE GREENCASTLE COMMON
COUNCIL approves the expenditure of$35,000.00 in industrial development fund monies.
