RESOLUTION ADOPTING A PRETREATMENT ENFORCEMENT
RESPONSE PLAN AND GUIDE
WHEREAS, The U.S. EPA promulgated regulations requiring all Publicly Owned Treatment
Works, such as the City of Greencastle Wastewater Plant,to adopt an enforcement response plan as
part of its approved pretreatment program;
WHEREAS,the current plan needs to be updated to reflect changes in policy and procedures; and
WHEREAS, the Greencastle Board of Public Works and Safety is forwarding the attached
Pretreatment Enforcement Response Plan and Guide with a favorable recommendation to the
Common Council.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of Greencastle,
Indiana that it hereby adopts the attached Pretreatment Enforcement Response Plan & Guide, and
related forms.
Any other previously adopted pretreatment enforcement response plans shall be deemed repealed
hereby.
PASSED AND RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of Greencastle at its regular
